Hahaha I'm operation sniping RS   A.K.A Radom ****

You know Americans say the Brits are uptight and stoggy (If that is a word). I came to this forum in 2008 due to the fact that all the american forums where full of uptight assholes and big egos. These guys were all laid back, cussing, joking and just talking general **** and Star wars sometimes. I have never left...they are stuck with me.

Same way I felt to. Pomse2001 put me on this site, I used to just lurk. But I saw how chill it was in here. Now I myself is addicted to this forum lol and now your stuck with me!

I need to have a holiday in the UK :D

Wow, i just read through that. Missed the whole thing on here. Whatever you think about the back and forth between this girl and forum members here and at RS the real question that needs to be answered is- what the **** is Jordan playing at??! Is anyone really stupid enough to buy the "he's just training me up" line or the "i'm just trying to drum up interest for him while he's away" ??! Whaat....? Yeah i often get my 12 year old niece to do that when i want to sell that's very sought after, incredibly valuable, specialist, vintage items that i know full well no one is ever gonna want to deal with a kid over. If my niece is busy i try the cat. Just get a pic uploaded of my cat (he's 2 now so adult) and let him type away on the forums. It's not me who's a dick it's all those nasty collectors who have taken offence to being led up the garden parth by a ****ing madman and his clueless minion.
The whole thing, apart from anything else (creepy, questionable, insane, misguided, deceitful, manipulative, dangerous, clueless, arrogant) is pretty ****ing insulting. The lack of respect and disregard for the collecting community to pull this kind of **** is unreal. Whether you think he's done it honestly and meant no harm (and that's probably scarier!) or he's done it to not only use and manipulate a teenage girl but also to (in his mind) cleverly manipulate and entice experienced collectors to fall for "the deal of the century". Or maybe just to have some fun at our expense. Or this girl expense... i'm not really sure. Either way it's one of the most questionable and unsettling things i've ever seen or heard of anyone doing on a forum. To not see that is either ignorant or plain stupid. Or Josh but we know that's a different thing.
Someone really needs words with this fool [Jordan]. If it happened on a forum i ran i'd be looking for his phone number and having serious words and talking to that young girl's mother to see if she's aware of what this middle-aged man has been getting her daughter to do. Now i'm not condoning grown men lashing out at a young girl but at the same time what kind of a ****ing idiot would put a young, completely clueless girl in this kind of environment. One where people are not usually nasty for nasty's sake but are understandably always on edge and guarded against time-wasters, scammers, piss takers and the like of which we see here week in week out. Good people getting conned, messed around or just plain lied to. When you see ALL the tell tale signs of this kind of member be it a man woman teenager, whatever, the reaction is not only understandable but more often than not, warranted. Read through the threads again, right from the outset it was clear that this girl was hiding something, not telling the entire truth (for whatever reason) and that is ALWAYS gonna get people nervous, on edge, would up, outraged ETC. And quite ****ing right. If i feel that someone is trying to take the piss out of me and or waste my time in any way whether on a forum or in real life i am incredibly quick to quite aggressively tell them to **** off. And no matter how you wanna look at it, this girl/Joran was here wasting people's time.

And another thing....
The "swfuk haters fan-club" may well retort with "umm, it was ONLY a valuation request!!... she weren't asking for money" well that's as may be but what con-man doesn't know that posting in a valuations thread isn't just as good a way to garner offers of hard earned cash from gullible, trusting forum members as a sales thread? So people are just as guarded and on edge with newbies posting dodgy valuation requests as dodgy sales threads. It stands to reason.
We may not be a perfect forum but one of the best things about this place is we collectively have no ****ing time for time-wasters and bullshitters (it really is a british thing). People/idiots like Karen maybe more than welcome to wind up everyone all day long on RS but she ain't ****ing welcome to do it here. And whether you 'get' that or not, frankly i don't care, it's something i believe we should all hold our heads up over. She's been making a joke of that forum and it's moderators ever since she joined up. Just as she was doing here before she got told to **** off.
Perhaps this line should be emailed to new members upon sign up "if the existing members of swfuk feel at any point that you may be full of it, a bull-shitter or in any way talking the ****ing piss they reserve the right to tell you to **** right off". Just a suggestion.

If this forum is at fault at all it's letting a child sign up in the first place. I don't think this forum is any kind of place for a 13 year old girl. Would you let your 13 year old girl (or boy for that matter) join up here?? I think there needs to be an age requirement upon signing personally. If it took this to realise that then fair dos but you can't allow the kind of language and talk we so luxuriously enjoy here AND say it's ok for children to sign up. IMO.

You drunk again Pete?

Fair and valid points though, I wouldn't let my kids within arms length of this place

This topic has certainly stirred some people into thinking. I can certainly understand some of the sentiments towards Jordan here as it seems like he has made a gross error of judgement and has encouraged someone who realistically had no need to be attempting to drum up sales on this lot: Jordan could have found the time to do this himself at some point. I have no idea what was so pressing that he felt it a good idea to get Kenner Babe to test the water but I think we can all agree that it has backfired.

Some of the opinions though do seem a little strong here. Lets just put it into context:

Random girl who we believe is a teen although dont necessarily know her exact age turns up on the boards trying to promote or stimulate interest in the sale of a very nice set of Palitoys. She claims links to Jordan and then tells people not to contact him directly unless its to confirm her identity. People doubt her and ask for pics (understandably so), and we are already off on the wrong footing. Pics are provided although are poor quality and this further fuels the suspicion and general surreality. It descends into a nothingness quite quickly because of a lack of trust, the pics are poor, the link between her and Jordan is not fully understood and there is potentially alot of money involved.

However, in my opinion no-one (new or old) in their right mind would actually go near this deal as it stands because of the reasons stated:

1) The promoter doesnt know enough, doesnt have the items to hand and is effectively brokering a deal.
2) The pics are poor.
3) The responses are handled in a way befitting someone who is young and inexperienced and would not fill you with the confidence to pursue a deal.
3) The set is seemingly overpriced

Once all this is recognised, the whole setup screams of nothingness and should just be steered clear of. I can guarantee that half the people that posted had no interest in buying the set anyway. We all look out for eachother on the boards which is great and long may it continue; but in all seriousnesss I couldnt see anyone (new or old) being sucked in on this one. Lets not give this more air time than its worth, its just a novelty and novelties wear thin pretty quickly as this one very clearly has.

I would certainly be wary of letting my own child on a predominantly adult site but some 13 year olds are more mature than other and in kylesbullets case far more knowledgable than some of the adults, so i think he more than justifies his place..... and where else is he going to expand upon his already vast knowledge :D

That finestcomics winds me up! His post are so full of pretentious bullshit. Although to be honest I usually fall asleep before I get to the end of what he's written. Sometimes I read a few lines for pure entertainment value - watching him give it berty big bollocks relating everything to comics. He was way out of line for the way he spoke to Iain. Iain didnt even know what had been posted about him till someone pointed it out.

And like he was ever considering dropping $30k on those MOCs - he's so full of ****!

BTW: too bad about the back of the line treatment because I was interested until all this drama and all the ball-dropping ensued. I'm out.
Twat!

For those who think a deal was blown....do not fear...I am sure they will be listed on RS and money talks...that is if you still want them.

Really well summed up Chris!
It's exactly what I've been thinking about this whole thing and you've put it all down just the way it really is. I'm still interested enough though to see how all this plays out. I guess you rarely see a complete set like this up for sale so I'm intrigued to see the final figure......well that's if it all ends up being for real and as I said from the start I still have my doubts about that Luke being a MOC.

So do I pal! Never seen a genuine MOC 12 back missing its footer b4! :?:

So when is someone going to get a better gander at the Luke with the missing footplate? Have noticed the sale threads on RS have been locked while Jordan/KB figure out what to do next. Have to say a few of the cards looked really warped too. KB asked for valuations based on a full set of C9 cards. Think this sale may be a non starter until a more realistic price and some better pics come to light. Can't see how the footplate can be missing unless it's a reseal.

Thanks Ian. I was starting to think I was alone in my assessment of the situation.

Something very fishy is going on me thinks, maybe time will tell?
