Artistic SWFUKers Thread as requested by Michael Sith :)

I tend to have an idea, then it changes as I go along  but enjoy the bigger canvases
More of a challenge.

The idea with this fett was him sort of rising from the ashes, and windswept ( ) but it needs more work, ( if my
Mrs gets her way it will be in ashes....fed up of me painting  )

Have you anything on the go Grinchy?

I like it, i can see where your going with it.
Nothing on the table for me at the moment mate, taking things easy, i just got that large x wing for christmas, so i'll be weathering that up,
Sculpting wise i have a few ideas for this year, i plan on doing some original pieces of work, not film based but my own take on monsters and aliens, may have some film work later in the year, see how it goes

Took this photo today before the Christmas lights came down 8)

Nikon D50 and Photoshop Elements. It's a fairly old camera but does the job. If anyone wanted to get into digital photography cheaply I may consider selling this kit as I do want to upgrade.

Glad you like :)

I have no idea how people took photos on fully manual cameras before digital. With digital you can afford to take 50 shots of the same thing just to make sure you get something workable. With film there's no way you could do that. Everything has to be right before you press the shutter release.

 see how easy you have it nowadays

I had loads of filters, starburst, sepia etc, no photoshop! I loved the camera, but it did take up too much time, as you say much easier nowadays.

What you moving up to, D500?

Really chuffed to have received this masterpiece through the door from our very own Mr Sith 8) Michael is a very kind hearted, generous and talented guy who helps to make this forum the place it is :)

Yeh maybe something like that. Someone told me canon are much better than NIKON but that would mean changing everything

Love looking at this thread, always great work being done :D

Thought I'd also copy this link of some of my handy work I recently posted in another thread. Wasn't quite sure where it fitted into the forum but thought it was worth a mention here as well.
