Heres my latest piece, another ghoulies puppet prop, i went with a lighter shade of green than the last one i did

and heres a new project a bust of candyman from the film of the same name
heres the original

and heres the sculpture before i moulded it

have to make his hook hand and a load of individual bees for his mouth

Have you any SW pieces on the boil? you should do a yoda or a fett, maybe a Rancor bust?

Scary though it is it looks superb though, attention to detail is great.

Wow, some fantastic talent and skill on display here :shock: I haven't attempted to draw anything since I finished my Art A-Level 20 years ago so think I'd be a little too rusty now. I'll just look on in envy :mrgreen:

Pen and ink mate, then water colours and acrylic just to colour wash

Have you ever tried using methylated spirits as a wash over your pen sketches? It reacts beautifully with the ink and can create some wonderful water colour like results.

Wouldn't go as far as calling it art :?

Just love scribbling away....I go off into another place...only time I truly chill out...sad but true.

I will have try that see what happens cheers for the tip, I love the pen effect on the type of parchment paper I use, it absorbs the ink and spreads slightly great for shading and depth.

Saw something like this on etsy, so as my kids have the Hama Beads in their art cupboard, thought I'd give it a go... The SW Den now has new drinks coasters!
