Need to finish this one as well.

Hi Michael and thank you for the kind words my friend. I last did some pieces early last year and have literally just picked up the brush again so starting on something new. Feels good to be back in it.

Your pieces by the way are amazing. I love your style. Thanks for sharing as I always enjoy viewing your art. :)

Thanks Michael. :)

I like that droids pic also, iv'e always liked technical looking drawings of robots/ships etc with all the details and lines.

I just need some spare time at the moment to finish some pics off.

Ham you need show some of your portrait work as it is something else!

Grinch, have you done anything lately? Still proudly have the Yoda bust on display you did, and the Jaws tooth display.
I will be sometime putting a turtles display, and the Mikey bust will proudly be displayed as well...awesome work you did again there!

It's great to see this thread still going, love to see real artists at work, ( I know my place and happy there) but you guys have a gift and it is enjoyed by others so keep posting your pics, and work always a pleasure to see, and it will encourage others to show there talents, as there is no judgement on here, just appreciation :D

Lol, thank you Michael.

The first is really poor quality (as I no longer have the original) but my favourite for many reasons...

The second is a man I met in Peru during my travels. Such a humble and happy man so took his photo to paint when I returned so here it is (still not finished)...

brilliant work tigerham, very impressed with both paintings
As for me, sadly illness has kept me from sculpting and creature type work, I do plan on getting back to it but for now just taking it easy :D
Very inspiring thread with lots of talented folks, thanks as always for sharing

The Peruvian man still needs much detail for myself to believe that, although I have the disadvantage of knowing they're not, lol.

Fantastic work Ham, said it before, amazing talent.

Grinchy hope you get back at it soon, just make sure your looking after yourself mate :D

Spent an hour on the beginnings of a Fett, going to have a try at something different applying thicker paint with a knife.
Have what I want in my head, it may not transfer to canvas though

Amazing paintings tigerham, the detail is superb and you've got the lighting and shadows nailed down which adds to the realism. :)

Love the Fett too, great thing about Fett is his helmet isn't all new and perfect looking so it's easier to get to look more realistic with weathering and damage, looking forward to seeing the finished piece. :)
