Anyone looking at Brian's Toys and thinking...

No you aren't alone. I was discussing Trilogo prices recently with someone and we both agreed that when you see beat up common Palitoy Trilogo Yak faces selling for $3k on ebay and then see the much rarer GMJ Spanish version AFA 80 on Brians toys for the same price, you start thinking it's a bargain!

I must say though if Brians toys prices are now considered "decent" then the hobby really has gone bonkers.

funny you should say that - I've just been looking at BT for that very reason

Mental block here.

Someone please remind me how I can see his stuff? It's something to do with the fact he doesn't say he ships to the UK I thought but can't remember how to fix it

Thanks

Thanks Joe

But when I go to his ebay page, for me at least it just shows some crappy doll (one item only), but if I go on his auctiva link it shows me all his stuff. I've got to the bottom of it before, but I'm clearly going daft in my old age

Now that I've bought what I've had my eye on, I'd also like to add that Final Frontier prices also look very reasonable in light of the recent madness - Frank even honoured a 15% discount offer from April, a top man 8)

And now that I have brought what I was after, let me just say that through Brians's Toys chat feature, I managed to get a 20% discount just by the fact I was buying multiple items.

I have bought lots of figures off Brian's toys over the years and always got good service and always well packed up . In fact when I was on holidays got it deliverd to my hotel in the U.S. and saved the customs charges

Beware, there's been several " Watch out " threads about them on RS and Facebook lately.

They're all about the same thing - the website and ebay shops are out of sync. It's not a showstopper to dealing with them, you just stand a tiny chance of not getting your item if it's sold off ebay and they haven't updated the BT website yet. But the chance is tiny, look at his feedback.

In fact Dallas toys are good aswell

Heard some horrible things about Dallas toys in the past as well. Many a watch out thread on RS.

I've used Dallas vintage toys quite a few times. They always do awesome 10% discount weekends, and post the items as $50 so you don't get stung for duty taxes. A few months ago I brought an AFA 85 Royal Guard from them, but they didn't have it so sent me an AFA 90 Royal Guard. Never had any issues with them.

I use to check brianstoys site out frequently but i really cant stand the new layout , its messy and a terrible design so dont bother with it.

Final Frontier is a but pricey, but Frank is honest and a really nice guy. Just join their FB group and wait for a sale, it makes their stuff more affordable.

I had a look yesterday and it's a good shout, the ungraded stuff is not badly priced, got some stuff like 65 back Luke Jedi which are priced really well.

Anyone noticed if you type Brians toys into google the first link that comes up is confused.com, because of the Brian toy they are giving away?
