lol! This reminds me of a job lot that was sold as a small auction house two years ago- there was some awesome stuff including a MIB Droids A Wing and just about every other large ship MIB. A box of 4-500 figures (With at least a complete set of Last 17 figures), the weapons completely filled a tesco shopping bag- there must have been £500 worth of staffs weapons etc.
The estimates were so low- 30-50 for the figures, and £150 for the MIB stuff.
Any way I thought I was going to get a bargain! We drove down to the Reading and stayed the night over- I couldnt believe it when I viewed it- stuffed under a table and looked like no one had gone through it. I was so excited. Then the bidding started. There were six or seven people after each lot. The figures went for £600, the boxed vehicles sold for £800.
I was so so so gutted. Went back to work and then chopped three fingers off the next day. Pretty disapointing week!!
So what I am rambling at is there are always a lot of toy dealers who roughly know the value of these figures. If its on the internet you stand zero chance of a bargain. If its not on the net you stand a 5% chance of a bargain.
