Anyone know anything about ISP's?

Depends on the provider. You're best moving to gmail/yahoo/hotmail so you can change ISP without worrying about it. I did this when I ditched free serve/orange 5 years ago.

Here's your T&C with supanet:-

They will delete all your email and reject emails sent to your mailbox after you end your contract (14.6).

Your best bet is to create a new email address which is not ISP specific (I highly recommend gmail) and then migrate all your internet accounts to the new email address before you cancel contract with your current ISP. It's a pain in the arse but is your best bet moving forwards. Gmail has great storage capacity and IMAPS interface so you can migrate your current emails if you know what you're doing.

Best of luck whatever you decide!

Cheers for the info Jason. I contacted them and they said they would let me keep my address for £6 a month. I think I will do this until I am fully sorted on a new address once I've got everything sorted.

£6 a month lol, i would just get a new gmail address now and port all accounts over prob only take a day or two, plus it will take a while for your provider to give you a transfer date and installation appointment, do it now and watch your inbox for a week or two and see if any emails come through.
