Any golfers here-played the Belfry today :)

So i managed to wangle my way to the Belfry today entertaining 2 good customers of ours. Did the PGA course and was knackered at the end. Lovely day for it and its reignited my love of the game

Anyone else here play golf?

Yes I play, not very well but can get round a course in 100 shots or so (just under on a good day.) Would love to organise a SWFUK golf day if there are enough of us?

Used to play a good bit, got down to 12 at one stage, haven't played in a long time though...Once the little one came along it was hard to get out and justify a 4-5hr round, which was becoming the norm on Sundays in the Club I was in...
Will probably get back into it as she gets older.
Played a few of the bigger 'Irish Open' courses...K Club, Druids Glen, Carton House etc.
Played a good few times in Spain as well

I've played for about 15 years and got my handicap down to low teens at one point, currently it's in the early twenties as I just don't get a chance to play regularly enough

I'm playing at Effingham in Surrey on Friday though and can't bloody wait!

My brother got us on the PGA course for a corp event a couple of years ago - really enjoyed it - tough course though

I used to work in a Pro shop when I was younger and played everyweek - probably got down to about 16-18 but haven't picked up a bat in a few years now - one day, when I make my millions then I'll take advantage of all the golf courses on my doorstep - and Edd, then we can have a SWFUK Golf Day Florida

I like a round of golf but Im a fair weather golfer, and Im ****. Got really into it about 8 years ago for a couple of years and got quite good but as others have said I don't play enough now. Think I played twice last year..! Haven't played yet this year. I do love it though, with a few mates in the sun, one of the best days you can have

I play quite regularly. Use to be half decent ten years ago but my game seems to be going backwards.
Did you have to book and wait for the Belfry? I played Carnoustie about 15 years ago and it was just short of a two year wait for general public to play.

A SWFUK Golf Day would be awesome
