Hi gents

Is there an alternative way of posting pictures on here?

I'm not a computer expert and really struggle with the photobucket way of doing things,is there not an easier way ie;ebay or facebook methods?

I really want to show you guys some bits that I have but now cant even log into photobucket because it says i'v already got an account?

Any help guys would be really appreciated

Stefan

just use imageshack

http://imageshack.us/

all you do is click browse then upload images, you dont even have to join the website

When you make a post or reply there is a box below that says "upload attachment" all you do is choose the file from your pc, desktop/pictures folder etc and upload them to the post.

Really easy and saves you having to open an account with anyone or paste links etc, you just pick the picture up dump it in the post and away you go.

I mean that's if you REALLY can't be bothered to open an account up with webshots or photobucket, I do it this way for quickness because although I have a photobucket account whenever I save a picture I do so on my pc, then its there to transfer here. I don't really upload that much lately as attachments on here do the trick.

i tried what joe says but my pictures are too big so i have to resize them then it works a treat m8 ! i use the vso image resizer ..download it the resize pics on your harddrive and post them using this forums image uploader

slim

I resize using paint, its easy and its part of most peoples systems, you right click the picture and open with paint, once the image opens it will be huge probably as it shows the real dimensions instead of scaling it down when viewed.

All you do then is click "image" top menu, "resize + skew" and when the next box appears its set at 100 x 100 (first two boxes give height and length) simply scale down by erasing 100 x 100 and replacing it with 50 x 50 for example.

Normally for here I resize to 40 x 40 as it doesn't make it too small and my cameras images aren't massive like others.

Hope that helps a little !

No probs, saves you buggering about with programs from the net!

I can work with paint because , like me its very simple

never knew that Joe

I might try that in future

Np Spoons :)

The only thing worth noting is that you can only upload 3 attachments per post, so if its for a display thread you might be better off doing it with your photobucket account because you can copy any number of links you want to display pictures. (the alternative is just reply a few times to your initial post and in each reply you get 3 more pictures)

Also one other thing is that when your post with picture is quoted the picture won't show in the next persons quote because the file is attached to your original post. But not really a big issue :)
