Most look too good to have been opened but hey..what do I know.

I think the most frustrating thing about U grading and opening is that there are so many rare cardback variations out there that at risk of being opened, some are even unknown to exist (especially Kenner 79A's) and these dicks just come along and open things up without even checking what they have.

That is just sooooooooooo wrong, these people have not got a scooby doo

He has another cardback lot as well, all with bubble's. Looking through his auctions you will find the U graded figures as well. Logray, GG, Nien Numb.

****ing arsehole.

Did he u-grade the ledy too?

He's listing the U grade figures at $39-99. Seems like a waste of time to me if it costs about $40+ just to get the figure sent in, graded and sent back! Where is the profit in that? Especially as he had to buy them carded to start with?!

Sometimes I wonder if they are doing it to make a profit or they just can't stop submitting!

Destructive and pointless.

Just think about how ****ing stupid this whole situation is,
Seller sends carded figure to be poo graded then sells the cardbacks and bubbles to a buyer Who most likely reseals them at a very small profit margin. The more I look at this the more it shows the worlds full of complete morons!

Rip engine out of car.....encase engine in a case....sell car without engine.......new owner puts replacement engine back in.

It's ****ing despicable. Completely destructive but sadly there are collectors everywhere, even on this forum (we had a poll once and there were a disgusting amount of people voting in favour of this cuntish act. Lots of little worms hiding in the woodwork, sadly), that wholeheartedly support this barbaric, reprehensible and idiotic practice. Makes me sick.

Pretty much sums up the whole U-Grading discussion/problem there Pete.
I was watching that auction just thinking, why?
Shame really :(

Ludicrous and destructive....to what end?....why do it?

Ugrade debacle has been discussed to its limit, will never understand the mind set involved to do this to little pieces of history, and your quite right Pete....for these people to actually destroy these mocs...there has to be a market....so the buyers are just as bad IMO

Sickening waste

If any good news came out of Toni gate its that some U grades are not in fact U uncirculated so some of these fools have paid good money for used figures!
