Thanks for the link Clarkspie+chips, some interesting stuff there. I love that blockade runner...would have been great...the Rebel Hoth tracked recovery vehicle is interesting too.

I think the mini-rigs could have worked with any line (GI Joe etc) so were probably reasonably generic designs which were branded Star Wars (excluding the tripod gun, Sand Skimmer and the small shuttle). Endor Forest Ranger could easily have been GI Joe or action force IMO. MTV-7 looks more like action force/GI Joe than Star Wars!

As a kid I'm not sure what I wished was made - As an adult I'm surprised they didn't remodel Darth, Ben and Luke on Jedi cards to hold lightsabres like Luke Jedi/Bespin.

I agree Max. I can remember as a kid wanting a Vader with the later form of sabre...such as the variants of Luke that you mentioned.

A removable helmet Vader would've been nice for ROTJ as well as an A Wing in the main range rather than just Droids

Great idea but you can't make a figure that tells you the end of the films.
How long would they have to black it out like they did with the ewoks?
