Always wondered why..?

From looking at the Luke Stormy i'm not sure a Anakin DV would have been much cop. Modern versions look good.

You've got a point, Lukes head does look like they didn't bother sculpting it and just stuck on a small sprout.

Going back to the first thing we ever see, i.e. the Tantive-IV (Rebel ship attacked by Star Destroyer at start of Episode-IV), that would have been a great toy...imagine the doors could have been made to blast out to allow stormtroopers to rush in and start a fight...bit like the pub on a Friday night...

The manufacturers did indeed take a gamble on the initial Star Wars toy range...but once it took off, thankfully they milked the cow pretty hard...and left us all with many bits 'n pieces to drool over for years to come...

Does anyone know the name of the spy with the big nose spying on Han in mos eisley.?

Yeah but if he'd been released in 1979 he would have been called something more prosaic like Empire Spy or Big Nose

On the modern figures Hammerhead is renamed 'Mamow Nadon'.

C'mon, I refuse to accept that crap. He's not Mamow nothing - he's Hammerhead. End of.

That is so true! If I was a designer at Kenner it would have to be Elephant Face

He's some sort of magic priest if you read the EU books. Giving these guys fancy names and back ground stories ruins things if you ask me. Hammerhead was always one of the stranger characters to me. So strange in fact that i never even thought what he was called or what job he did. It's like if someone gave the Hoth Wampa a name and background story. All of a sudden you might start feeling sorry for his wife and children after that **** Luke cut his arm off!

I refuse to acknowledge mamow chow as well , he is a hammerhead and I don't care about their history either and what they supposedely did in their life , if they didn't do it in the movie it doesn't count for me.

I always wanted a carbonite chamber so you could recreate Luke v Vader Bespin battle and put any figure in a carbon block. :)

Going back to the mini rigs I've always thought that these were for the budget quick buy, (can I have that mum), in the supermarket etc, as most of the larger ships were really quite expensive back then. I don't think I had any when I was young as I don't remember thinking they were much use unless you wanted your hoth trooper to fix the tarmac on the road with the mini road rollers !!

Didn't that one get released in the micro collection? I know it's not the same thing. A full size would have been cool if they used the same carbon block that came with Slave 1 and had some sort of Slave 1 docking bay :) I've never actually tried to fit the figure Han Carbonite into Slave 1! Does it go in?

No it doesn't, brake down of comunication at Kenner towards the end!

Also none of the Han figures fit in the block which came with Slave 1. :|

Kenner were planning on releasing the blockade runner but it never got past the prototype stage
