£5k with a cracked bubble, too much.

Totally agree. I guess I am not the only person with the same feelings toward this piece. I wish more trilogos would come up for sale in the US. I need a lot.

more to the point what if it cracked even more and madine fell off lol

Ok Lets assume that none off the 7 madines from the case find where sent to AFA, and add them up, this still means only 13 known examples, offcourse there can be more out there, buy i guess no more then 20 known examples excist and i am beeing generous here.

You guys are right the crack is the biggest problem, but it doesnt mean it Will crack further. Crack could have veen present before grading, my 12 Back Jawa has a perfect bubble with a Tiny crack in the stem and it also graded an 75 for the bubble with an overall 80 grade, i Always wondered why the Bubble got an 75, till i cracked the case open and found the Tiny crack On the bottom of the stem.

As I'm on a new PC I haven't got access to all the info I used to have on Madine. From memory there were around 15 confirmed sealed figures and a small handful of cardbacks as of last year.

I'd be surprised if there are hundreds out there but it's a safe bet there are more than the 15 or so we can confirm exist in collections. With that said, even if 30 or 40 survived that's still not many to go around so Madine will definitely always be a holy grail for Trilogo collectors (just a shame it wasn't a cooler figure!).

Good to hear from you Joe. Maybe I was a bit harsh with my earlier comment but I'd probably be looking for preproduction if i was dropping that kind of cash but that's just me. If someone was looking to complete their tri logo run then I guess its a different story.

I'd definitely be putting £5k towards something else if I had the money Chris, so you aren't the only one that thinks that ;)

The Fett/VCJ is all about desirability of the figure rather than rarity. VCJ is pricey due to its 'mythical' rarity, it's number may suggest it is a more common item but getting someone to part with one is quite an achievement.

Fett is just pricey because of all the Fett bum-boys, they're everywhere.

The Madine is an odd one though as its both rare and a must have if you want to finish the trilogo run. But no desirability in the figure, unless you're not right in the head.

There are rarer figure/card combos than Madine - with more desirable characters on, that only fetch £1000-£1500 in comparison.

I think part of the high price with Madine is in part down to the fact its totally ****. It now has some mythical infamy. That's all I can think of.

The fact I will have to buy one someday is depressing - as I cant finish the mission without it. Damn you Joe.

True
True
Depressingly True

It's the opposite of that Ghostbusters quote..

Ray, when someone asks you if you want to collect Trilogos you say "NO!"

As is typical for RebelScum, the prices are pretty much double what they should be. Nice item but with a cracked bubble i'd say 3-3.5k at the absolute most.
The Logray is another rare one but 300 is a joke. 120-150 max.
And so on.
