Hi all,

Just picked this up:

Clearly it's water damaged but I've seen others here talk about saving cards in this condition and wanted to know the best way to go about it.

Thanks

Rob

Lol.....think this is beyond that.

Is it possible to iron the card flat? Just need to know what to put between the iron and the card for the procedure really.

Great pick up Rob....

Here is an old thread...have a look and read

Starch...a tea towel...an iron...bobs your uncle

Just carefully does it, never had an issue myself, but only on budget mocs, and very carefully.

Good luck :D

Yeh. What Mike said. Whatever you do don't iron straight onto the card or near the bubble :?

Thanks for the advice guys....once it arrives I'll give it a try.

Paid £25 for the MOC so hoping I can sort it easily :)

Didn't we see this figure about 3 years ago?

How do we find that thread?

This one?

Put it in a book for 5 years. Don't iron it as the last thing we want is legit mocs getting mixed in with Toni's. :D

Not gone up in value... I still had it, put it on eBay at my original £20 then added there fees to the cost, plus postage vola £25. If someone had bought it back then it would have been £23 with postage and no eBay fees....

Rob, no idea what to do with it I never tried anything , I got about 8 figures a few years back to fill gaps in my display. Still got 2 or 3 more... Cloud car pilot and imp commander but keeping them.

Good luck. The bwing pilot you just bought shouldn't be as complicated!
