I am a newbie on here and have recently unearthed my collection of original figures from my childhood (I am missing about 8 of the last ones), and would like to display them. Searching google I have seen a bespoke acrilyic display cabinet that can be hung on the wall and displays all the range of figures. Does anyone have any ideas who could produce one of these cabinets in the U.K, or indeed if anything like this is available?

Thanks

Best way to display loose figures is an IKEA unit , figures stands and acrylic steps , the latter 2 you can buy from GW Acrylic .

I am sure Jamie or Iain can help , just look at the for sale section at the top for more info !

My vote is always Billy bookcases from IKEA. They hold they GW acrylic steps across an entire shelf or six shelves of around 7 MOC or of course a variety of vehicles... or any of the above combined. They're also really cheap at around £35, easily upgraded to glass shelves later when you fancy it or a variety of glass door options. You can of course also use it as a bookcase later if your taste changes.
Other folk like a Deltoft
Both are free standing and easy to move around as collection changes

Definitely Ikea detolf or billy. Great flexibity for your display. And they are cheap to buy with no need to regret in future!!

well I was bored about what was out there at the time I was putting my loose set together & on display a few years back so decided to make my own cabinets, I have been considering doing a run of them for others, this size & a few other sizes, unlike most display options out there these let the figures breath but do not allow dust to get into them like the deltofs & some of the other options currently available, I made these rather rough & by hand back in 2008, been very happy with them myself as they can be wall mounted & only stand 60mm out from the wall so do not take over the room, each of the 4 I have holds 50 figures.

Excuse the camera flash but you get the idea.

They look brilliant ! You should make them to order :D

Frank probably needs to in order to finance his latest baggie purchase!!   BTW, they look great!!

As most know, i've always been a fan of the Detolf but the nice Oak finished Billy with decent shelves does also look the business. As does your cabinet Frank, the man has skills.

Thanks guys, did these years back as I had very very limited display space so had these 4 cabinets on the wall by the stairs, did not have the correct acrylic glue so bodged them together with superglue  not the best idea I have ever had but it sort of worked, I am doubling up the shelves in one next week to accommodate the ever growing power droid army, should hold 150 of them then.

Had actually considered making some if there is interest as Simon is bang on, really could do with digging myself out of the self made pit on my last purchase.

Thought maybe these & double width ones that hold 100 figures & maybe even some tiny ones for runs like bounty hunters or cantina figures, would it be worth my while you think??, not that there would be much init with the cost of raw acrylic sheet now
