Is it just my imagination, or is the price of modern, slowly rising?
If so, is it just a few pieces, or is it across the board?
Or am I just a fool?

Its always bloody expensive...

And will always creep up. Its just like the old days though, you can get cheaper figures on sale but its always the same 4 figures you have already got and nobody wants...

Not noticed a rise in figure prices recently but the Droid carrier weighs in at a whopping £150

I thought it was a decent observation. Even at car boots some people are asking £5-8 for episode 1 cards.

Sorry Jackabina, I thought you were leaning towards what you pick up in Toys R Us these days.

As for the Ep1 stuff etc, I think it all depends who you buy it from...

I have a couple but don't think I paid more than £4 each for them, I do see them about but rarely investigate the prices.

I noticed that in Tesco's a couple of months back when I was getting some modern bits for Tundra, went in one day and they were £8.00, went in a few days later and they had shot up to £9.49. I suppose its like everything at the moment, base material prices are rising so that is always passed on to the consumer.

I hope the values are starting to rise. I've got shitloads of the stuff and it's all the kids are having when i pop my clogs cos' i aint got any cash lol :)
