So, together with a friend of mine Ive been playing with the idea of custom stands for the loose figures...

This is a rough first draft of one idea, the laser cutter is still in the process of being built so its gonna take some time.. The holes will be the size of protech stands. Opinions and ideas are appreciated :)

Oh, and I know theres no such thing as Jawal :p

Thanks for the kind words!

Planned material would have to be clear plastic, plexiglass (acrylic) is probably the material of choice. Its still at the idea stage, so it will take time before something is actually made. My friend has 3d drawing as a hobby and I have Star Wars as a hobby so together we talked about solutions for displaying loose figures.

Also we will need to find out the material cost and such, but will update here as soon as theres any news :)

whats the CAD system, Solidworks?

Also why not drop the holes for the protect stands and laser small holes into the base and fit a arcylic peg?

That's a good idea - nice stand either way 8)

I'd rather not have the pegs in for if they ever snapped the whole display needs replacing, a protech stand a lot easier
