A few different items

While searching through stuff to sell at mem, I'm stumbled across these pieces, which I don;t think I have ever photographed before.....

These are the 3 POTF playpacks and the 3 mini rigs, in both Box and Carded versions

These were among the last bits I needed to complete my Boxed collection. 8)

Love the trilogo playpacks and bodyrigs, but I think the yellowing makes the Kenner bodyrigs really awful.

THey're pretty much all like that. ChrisG pulled some out of sealed cases over 10 years ago that were yellowed pretty badly. Most are damn near brown as these are. I don't think I've ever seen a clear, or even somewhat clear, bubble for any of them.

Again, great stuff, Gary. Those playpacks are damn rare but just oh-so-cool.

Those playpacks always struck me as odd items, as they offer a kid nothing new in terms of toys plus they don't really seem suitable as army builders either because of the presence of one off characters. I guess a desperate attempt to rejuvenate a flagging toy line.....pretty much like POTF in general :?

Still they are pretty cool, and I had quite a time getting all 3.

The 3 mini rigs were tough too, especially the sentinel!!! I much prefer the boxed to the carded version, though not simply because of the yellowing/browning of the carded. I always think 'figures on cards...vehicles in boxes' That should be the way of things :lol:

Nice stuff mate. I think your bang on with your comments on the POTF line. I found it strange that the sniper and skimmer never made it on Droids packaging considering they actually appeared in the show.
