33 Years ago Return of The Jedi

I just learned that today it is 33 years since return of the jedi could be seen in the cinema in the uk :shock:

It was the 25th May in the USA and 2nd June in the UK and in Denmark where I live 14th October :shock:

33 years! :shock: I can still vividly remember going to see this at the cinema in '83. I'm pretty sure I'd read the first issue or two of the Jedi comic (was it out before the cinema release?), and remember buying the poster magazine at the cinema!

I definitely remember seeing it, as my sister took my to the West End to watch it!

Then after I bought a new figure...squid head I think it was!! 8)

All I remember is maybe seeing a trailer on a Van Damme special or ET from the VHS recorder we had.

I remember watching a short special on German TV with the big battle in space near Endor. Wow :shock:

Damn that does make me feel old, I was first introduced to jedi at a friends house when the movie was in theatres, his dad had a bootleg copy on vhs, loved it, still do, my second favourite after ANH with empire coming in third
