Argentina have been awful. Germany are all over the place. Belgium are ok but have lots of players we've heard of rather than lots of great players. Their inability to score may cost them in the next round.
For me; Brazil, France, Colombia and Holland are all in with a decent shout. Whoever wins out of France Holland has a good shot at the final.

Winner on each day play each other in the semi finals. France v's Germany and Argentina v's Belgium could go either way. I fancy Colombia to beat Brazil and I suspect most people will have the Dutch as odds on favourites to beat CR.

They have, no doubt. I said so myself. But i still fancy them to grow into this tournament and get it together. They haven't been awful either and Neymar is a game changer. Colombia have been excellent but i'm not sure they can keep going on whatever it is they've been running on. They've not had a tough game yet and Brazil may come as a bit of a shock to them. We'll see.

I agree with Liam, i believe we can win from Argentina and would love to Belgium-Holland in the semi finals.
Glad the French are gone- lacklustre.....
I thought that was a really dull game. The German's were the better side, but France went one nil down and the game just died. Very flat. Wasn't hugely impressed by the German's but all you need to do is win.

On balance Brazil deserved the win, although James was clattered throughout, bad foul on neymar though hope he's ok and Brazil will miss TS next match

What happened was every time they got the ball Brazil kicked the **** out of them and the ref let them away with it time and again. Yer boy Fernando should have had four yellow cards, and that was just in the first half. James Rodriguez got the **** kicked out of him all night and the ref did nothing.
That was genuinely like watching Stoke.
I'll happily cheer for whoever Brazil are playing after that. The amount of help they have had from the officials so far in this tournament is a joke.

What contrasting games - thought the Germany-France game was shite - France didn't seem motivated at all
The Colombia -Brazil game was great - think the ref tried to let it flow but should have carded a couple of players in the first half - Brazil probably got the rub of the green but that always happens to the host nation where ever it may be
Don't think there has really been a stand out team - and presuming that Argentina-Holland make the second semi then for me all four of them could win from there

Agreed, the fouling was getting silly and should have been stopped early on.
Brazil weren't amazing but were, yet, by far the better of the 2. On a short spell at 2-1 where Colombia actually looked at it.
That Luiz goal was something else. :shock:

I'm getting ****ed off with the amount of cheating, ****ing diving and going down getting soft free kicks for **** all. It ruined tonights Brazil game as there was a free kick every ****ing minute.
Best game of the tourny so far was Belgium and USA as there was little to no cheating and game flowed properly, without a dive and a minutes pissing about to take a free kick every other 30 seconds of play.
I wouldn't be surprised tonights game was in play for only 10 minutes and the other 80 odd was spent holding a random shin or lining up a wall. I think at one stage 3 brazilian players were down injured. Just happened to be only 2 minutes of the game left. Even the goalie spent 5 minutes on the deck after giving the penalty away, purely to make the taker wait. Cheat at every moment. I expect 90 minutes of the Argies cheating the **** out of Belgium tomorrow.
Another thing that pisses me off is the dickhead commentator saying "they should be keeping the ball in the corner to waste time" when there's still 20 minutes on the clock. ITS ****ING BRAZIL. They should be knocking it around taking the piss out of the opposition and then over head kicking in their 6th goal.
Go Belgium. The team left that cheats the least.
