20 back prototype photo's

Hey Fella's,

Forgive my ignorance but as I'm only just getting in to MOC's I've just recently received my first 20 Back and was excited to discover the pics on the back of the prototype Dewback, Droid Factory, Land of the Jawa's and Cantina. Thought I'd post some pics for others who haven't yet seen one either. Well chuffed me is!

Personally I reckon they were right to change the Dewback and Cantina but I actually quite like the proto Droid Factory more the the production one.

They're great pictures - I've never seen a 20 Back, so thanks for posting! I'd have to agree - the production Cantina looks much better then the prototype.

I don't think it ever surfaced Emiel, although the concept sheet pages are neatly tucked away on the archive (some might say hard to find) the prototype pages are easier to look through and I have never seen it listed there so I presume none of the archive editors have information on it surviving either

Perhaps its just sitting waiting to be discovered in a Kenner Employees garage! Or it's being used to scare away crows in some farmers field :mrgreen:

I don`t know how many Kenner Employyes hauls are left. Im sure there is a handful, but past that we may be out of luck.

That dewback is great. I wonder if it could have been cobbled together from other Kenner toys or if it was like the archive entry and LFL just didn't approve it.

I was wondering that Shawn, anyone got an idea of how they cobbled it together? I'm guessing some kind of cheapo dino toy and perhaps some extra sculpting to make it look Dewbacky?
