Finally purchased my first vintage 12 inch figure last week, got a mint in box Chewbacca, paid £80 for it (which I thought was a good price), although had to drive 100 miles to collect it as seller didn't want to post it.

What I was wondering was what is the going rate to buy these items?

I really like them and would like to make it my next focus to get them all, I have tracked down an IG88 boxed in Dover but the seller is wanting a few hundred quid for it and i'm not sure what I should be paying.

Secondly, how rare are these items??? Is this going to be something that will be really difficult for me to complete??? I've never had the opportunity to purchase one before this chewie so don't know too much about them but i think they would display well in my man cave.

If anyone has any that they will be looking to sell I would be extremely interested.

Big question mate. Depends on a lot of things.

The market for these is real low compared to how it use to be. Bargains can be found everywhere- even foreign boxed.

Heard that they're not easy to find, only want them complete in box too, think I may have this a side project along something else that will come up more often, going to look at the IG88 Monday morning, but he's wanting about £400 for it, says it's complete and mib but haven't seen any photos yet, not sure I could stump up that sort of cash for it, that's why was wondering what they're worth

IG-88 is the main grail from the Kenner line.

But you can get lucky- I picked up a Complete Luke MIB for £50 2 months ago.

£400 in my opinion is too much mate unless it's sealed. About £300-350 is probably the going rate for IG 88. I'm sure ive seen them for about that on the bay
