Anybody been looking at those 20/21 backs ending on ebay?
£1056 greedo 85 £882 Luke xwing 85 being the top earners.

Is that crazy or just the norm these days!!!!

Yeah I'm trying to collect these at the moment, got 4 to go and been waiting for this to happen. Greedo does seem to go for more than the others. After the 12 back spike was afraid it would happen to the 20/21 backs, decided to go for 65 backs instead.

I did watch these end  I think we should bare in mind that the listings were open worldwide, so your bidding against the world basically  I think that had quite an impact on the high prices when a lot of people around the world are looking to complete a collection...

Also the seller has just listed some other AFA 85 MOC's for auction

My first really big one off purchase when I first started collecting MOC was a load of Kenner 12/20/21 backs, maybe about 8-10 figures for £1k. Back in 2001 I think.

I blame that purchase for the fact that I now spend way too much on MOC.

Would the prices of those cards be the same if they were ungraded?

I think for AFA fans, an 85 grade is what most of them are after which pushes the prices up. AFA 90's are too few and far between to be able to put together a "set" so 85's are what everyone is aiming for so that the numbers on their labels "match"..

I don't know much about the 12/20/21 backs but those ROTJ figures have definitely only reached those prices because of the grades. I mean..£165 for 8D8?

Thanks! Ah the 77 Bac is a Brown Snake. Thats a beauty of a 41 Back. Gutted I missed it. If anyone ses another please LMK :)

This is the same guy who sold the 21 BK Boba Fett for a cool £3,750.00 a couple of weeks ago - Also a Rebo Band £662.66. This guy cashed in at the right time!

Fair play. Ultimately people were only going to pay what they were willing to pay.

I just hope if I ever cashed in people would be willing to spend high :D

Knowing my luck the bottom will have completely fallen out of the market :?

I bet a chunk of these went to the states. People are going to think I'm nuts but ebay.co.uk is underpriced for SW AFA stuff when compared to ebay.com prices. It's becoming a decent deal now for some U.S. buyers to buy from the UK whereas previously they wouldn't have taken the risk.

No doubt, it's time to sell particularly if you've got good quality graded stuff.

That's a good point, I've noticed that items that come up in Auzz tend to be cheaper as well.

Yeah as has been said, seller sold at right time, and as with some Palitoy items, seems to be a few more afa 85's coming out of the woodwork at the moment.
I am a firm believer that everything has its price, I know we say, ' I would never sell that piece piece, or my collection ' but I think most would if the price was 'right' ..

I got out bid on a couple of pieces, but I managed to secure the 21c Han for my focus.
