    Anybody else self isolating?

In Tokyo, where i'm living, it's mostly business as usual. However, the govt has urged people to stay in during the weekends and not to go to bars and restaurants and any entertainment places in the evenings. It's viewing these places as potential concerns of infection due to the number of...

Thanks. Tsukuda bought the rights to sell Action Man from Palitoy in 1984. Tsukuda used the 1978 Eagle Eye body and its own uniforms. There are fhree types: Green Beret, USMarine, and German paratrooper. They come boxed and the uniforms were also released on cards. Hard to find now. The German...

I found this magazine from Zodiac toy shop amongst some other things I have. It appears to be from the end of 1986. Not really much of interest other than a two page spread of MOTU figures.

Seahawks, thanks a lot. The back brings back vague memories from my childhood, but can't remember the front of the card so well.

Seahawks, that's a great set. I have the loose figures, except buffalo bill from my childhood. I also have the black horse which thanks to you, I know is Smoke. Could you post a photo of the back of the cardbacks of figure and horse? Thanks.

Found these cardbacks in a box. Anyone remember them? I only have the Shock Trooper figure left which I posted a while ago. Die-cast figures.

    Honesty is the best policy...

Good story considering the amount of money involved, there are a few good buyers and sellers out there. I also don't rate Hermes. I've had a few items delivered in the past by them: One item was just dropped over my front gate. Another item was left in my green bin full of food and garden waste...

Whilst we're on the subject of MOTU, I've fished mine out of a box. Faker's legs fell off as soon as I moved him so I'm now very cautious with the others. I've got He-Mans shield with some other stuff somewhere and also some of the cardbacks. It's odd because when I opened the box and got these...

Spoons, thanks for the link, but I don't have the courage to try that myself. My Bullet Man is dated 1975. I would have been 1 years old. I'm thinking I was probably about 4 when I got it. Early on my toy lines went something like cars, Batman, Spiderman, then Action Man.

This is my Bullet Man from when I was a kid. About 15 years ago I found it in the wardrobe in the spare room. After opening it, I found the arms and head had broken off and I almost threw it away. As it didn't take up much space, I put it back. I almost put it on eBay least year, but got back...

Best video games over the past 40 years!

My favourite arcade games back in the day were Chase HQ and Double Dragon. The Ninja Turtles machine was good because it was huge and could have a 4-player. Renegade on the Spectrum was a great game. Mario Kart. Destruction Derby. Hitman. Madden's NFL games.

What characters in films or television influenced you as a young person?

This is a great thread and I can recall most of my childhood heroes. It started with Adam West's Batman from the original TV series and Spiderman from the old films. Christopher Reeves Superman. Lou Ferrigno's Hulk. And the Lone Ranger. I was also a fan of military stuff which I think were...

Anyone remember these fellas? Both from Megocorp, 1977 Superman and 1978 Batman. The magnetic hands and feet Batman was one of my most played with figures before Star Wars came along. My mum took me to Coventry and bought him for me. I asked for Robin, as you would being about 4 years old...

latest film/ dvd you have seen

Spoilers below Watched Alien Covenant last night. It was fair overall, but felt it lacked the suspense. I thought it was quite predictable in places, regarding the action at least. The scene at the end with David was obvious even though it was dragged out. As I'm not a massive fan of Alien...
