get a really heavy one like this -

buy a light tent :D if you decide to use natural window light, put something in between the window and the item your taking - a net curtain or a thin white material. Natural light, especially sunlight can glare of the item your taking pics of - so you may need to "dull" the light down abit.

I think it is a DT lightsaber - going by the (movie) picture it looks like an extra bit added on - although the different colour could mean repro - hehe
