Ok got another surprise today, I had not checked the backside of the cardbacks before now and I learned the chewbacca tri-logo that I picked up in the last lot have a danish price sticker on the backside. Now I can add it to my danish star wars price sticker collection

I got in a contact with a very nice guy here in denmark. He had found his childhood collection in his basement and wanted to sell most of it. He told me he wanted to keep a few items as a memory from his childhood. I think we talked about an hour about star wars and our childhoods before I left again.

He was a little bit expensive so I only bought his items with danish price stickers and the items I wanted most.

I have never seen this danish price stickers before and there are no shop names on them. He had bought them himself in the 80s and he remembered the address where he bought it. After I got in contact with a fellow danish x star wars collector who knows a lot about danish shops. Then I learned the shop closed in 1993 and another toy store named BR have the store today.
But in the 80s the toy store was named J.S. Legetøj or on english J.S. Toys. I have never heard about that store before and I do not know if there was only this store or they had more stores in other towns. But it was placed in a small danish town named Kalundborg, I think about 10.000 people lived in the town in the 80s so it is not a very big town. I guess it is from a time where there was a toy store in nearly every town. I did not buy the leia figure from him because he could not find belt, helmet or blaster for it.

Here are the part of the lot that I bought from him

Lars, they look great. Nice to find out more about the shop. Sad that most toy shops are now gone- the UK is exactly the same, unfortunately.

Wow, those bubbles were removed very neatly, maybe that was standard practice in Scandinavia?!!

I got a part of another loft find yesterday. I only bought the cardbacks with danish price stickers on them from seller. Because the figures was beaters and all weapons was lost.

I will share the cardbacks soon with you guys :)

I saw this lot for sale yesterday in denmark. I saw it had been for sale for 4 hours so I thought maybe it was sold. But I contacted the guy and he told me it was still for sale but after he had put it up for sale many had contacted him, the first one after 3 min. but no one had bought it yet  So I visited him and looked af the lot and we had a long talk before I bought it and came home with it.

He told me it was from his childood, he was 50 years old and when he was a kid he tried to save money so he could buy star wars toy in the local toy stores in denmark. He also told me maybe one or a few of them maybe was bought when he was a kid on a vacation in portugal. He found them at the loft in a box and they had not been out of the box since he was a kid, he had no idea where the rest of the weapons are. He also told me he remember running around to friends when he was a kid with his bag with the figures and weapons in it. I was surprised most of them looks mint and legs and arms are very thight like they had never been played with but r2-d2 are very damaged. I was chocked to find the first version of r2-d2 in the lot, this is only the 2nd time I found that one in a danish childhood lot. Not many of this was sold in denmark. I do not understand why all the silver on the dome are gone since all the other figures are so nice. I guess he played a lot with r2-d2.

The AT-ST looks mint, there are a action figure bag for the figures after I got home, I checked the bag and found a blaster in it so that was an extra bonus :)

The other vehicles and the gun also look nearly mint but some of the stickers are beginning to get loose.

A little update I forgot to write in the post.

Seller also told me, he remember one or some of the vehicles was packed with figures when he bought them in the 80s. I think it was very interesting since I have never seen packets in denmark with figures and vehicles. I don't think special offer boxes was not sold in denmark. But the POTF packet with a minirigs and 2 figures from germany could have been sold in denmark. I think I have read or heard about that before

But as he remember it, it was maybe the AT-ST that was packed with 1 or 2 figures. I have not ever seen or heard about that only the mini-rigs
