well I was without a display for a long time, well for me anyway, 6 months + that seemed like years not being able to look at my collection.

Moved from a huge place to a small place & have had to make things work as best as I can, everything as usual has been built by myself from scratch every expense spared  & sadly 90% has had to be put in the loft, boy this was the worst **** hole of a loft space you have ever seen, had to be rather inventive to make something work in there, it's been fully insulated & boarded out trying to combat the obvious related heat & cold issues lofts suffer with which seems to be working thank goodness.

The photos are not great as there's no natural lighting in there but hey.

Just happy to be able to look at my stuff again even if it does mean getting the ladders out & crawling through the hatch.

Luckily I managed to get a little space on the stairs in the house so at least I get to look at some of the collection on display most of the time, again all the shelving & cabinets I have made myself mostly from scrap materials, but I am happy how it displays.

What an amazing collection superbly displayed! Very well done indeed on getting it all finished. I know from my own experience of cabinet making just how long it can take and how much effort is involved, but the end results you have there are tremendous!

Many thanks for sharing such a wonderful collection and display :)

Always more room for my little blue friends, took mine along with me for a forage today.

As for your loft, it it's anything like mine was - sod that!! you should have seen the state of it, huge birds nest in there, re wired & all the cables spread out over the beams rather than through them, next to zero insulation & when I went to insulate the rafters all the render backing the tiles up was crumbling to dust as it was just lime & sand so had to start by redoing the entire roof, was in winter & when up one day to find it bloody snowing up there

Nice to hear someone thinking about the work involved,it sure takes time, think the job from start to finish took me about 3 weeks with me up there most days for several hours, all the flooring & shelving are recycled decking which worked out dead well in the end, really had my doubts at first.

Thanks Mike, it sure feels good to have things unpacked from there cardboard prisons at last, nothing worth that having a decent collection & not being able to appreciate it.

Passion for the hobby I have in abundance mate, though adding anything these days is not easy is it.
