Anyone going to this this weekend?

I'm tempted to go first thing Saturday morning, I've not been in 3 years and the last time I went star wars stuff was really overpriced but there were still a few bargains to be had.

Looks like a good line-up for any of those who fancy queuing up to meet the stars, Pammy will be there

cool!
are you going for anything in particular?

I'm after loose figures and weapons on a bit of a budget so would be good if you put a review on here about Friday

cheers!

Saturday is sold out

I'm hoping to go on the Sunday. Looking forward to seeing Jason's Dodson from Jurassic Park

I hadn't looked at the guest list until now. Wow, what a great list of names. There's as many non-SW people I'd like to meet as SW. Ian Livingstone (not signing?), John Cleese (total and complete utter legend) and Kevin Smith (Clerks. 'Nuff said). Surprised to See Ian McDiarmid charge a weighty £60 a squiggle now where as good old Jeremy Bulloch still available for a score.

The thought of paying for a ticket to get in then spending the entire day in queues does no delight and the fact that Cleese and McDiarmid are only there on the Saturday (sold out) means I won't be going. Damn my lack of planning as I'd have gone to this. Still, that's 15 hours of queuing I've saved myself, I guess.

Prices for autographs are funny aren't they and do fluctuate somewhat. The Alan T actor who played K2SO in Rogue One was at least triple at Celebration. I think Iain McD was double that also at Orlando.

I went to one a few years ago and saw joe calzaghe and Stephen Hendry sat next to each other looking really cheesed off

Queued up for a mate and met checkov from star trek who may aswell have looked like he was trying to work out a really difficult sum in his head the whole time.

I met Alex winter and Corey Feldman, both were complete dicks!

All the vintage was priced high IMO... I didn't see a bargain anywhere.
The signings were pretty well organised though and I managed to get a fair few:

Mads Mickleson - Galen Erso
Peter Mayhew - Chewbacca
Alan Harris - bossk
Colin Hunt - prune face
Dickey Beer - biker scout
Jimmy Vee - R2D2
Warwick Diamond - Jawa
Deep Roy - Droopy

I got a pretty low number to grab Alan Turdyk's scribble, but he didn't show up till 11:30 and was only at signing 50 by 3pm!!! Another time maybe...

Only a reservation for FF - so tempted by the minty carded figures :D ( but have the misses with me so must be good :( )

Galen Erso in Rogue One!
Funnily enough we only talked about Hannibal though, which seemed to cheer him up no end as i expect he'd been answering Rogue One questions all morning!
