Greedo isn't a leftie?

Has anybody ever noticed that greedo is right handed in the Cantina scene in ANH but as a figure is a leftie? Does anybody know why this is? Also hammerhead is a leftie as a figure, interesting as I'm not sure we see a hand scene of him in the movie. Are there any other left handed figs out there?
Genetically one in 10 humans is left handed, which is equated would mean 9 or so leftie figs (although obviously they're all aliens so human genetics shouldn't apply). Quite a few seem ambidextrous, not that many lefties, though Stormies shoiuld be left handed and are right handed figs?

There are loads of issues with quite a few of the figures. Just be glad that Greedo actually holds his weapon at all. He's probably the best 'weapon holder' as the run of figures goes.

I think the designers were given stills of figures for consideration on production. From there they had some free license to make what felt right and what could be produced of a decent but cost effective quality. Clearly a lot of details that only hardcore fans would notice were overlooked. I mean how many people have actually noticed that Greedo holds his gun in the opposite hand?

Just be glad he isn't wearing a blue wet-suit with a saggy orange leotard over it. Oh, and flippers.

Maybe that's why he missed from point blank range (unusual for an intergalactic highly skilled assassin) ... He was using the wrong hand to shoot!

I just noticed this thread and I hope that I can provide a few additional insights.

Left-handedness has long been associated with evil intention – especially assassins, which might have been in mind when the Greedo figure was designed. Perhaps it could be a question to put to the design team in future interviews.

Left-handed Stormtroopers were ignored by Kenner and by pretty much by all of Star Wars 'lore'. Potentially, left handedness could have been associated with the cloning process, or a give-away to an Imperial spy (as in the original "V" television series).

Left-handed Stormtroopers most likely came about because the modified Sterling machine guns had a protruding shortened magazine on the left that prevented the gun from being placed in a hip-mounted holster on the right hand side.

I took a look at some of the Stormtrooper statues in The Forbidden Planet store the other day and some were left-handed and some right-handed. It provided an interesting conversation piece with one of my Star Wars friends who hadn't noticed that the majority of Stormtroopers in Star Wars are left-handed.

Cheers. There is a part two to my post that I needed pictorial evidence for.

Bossk and Zuckuss (Kenner name 4-Lom) are both left-handed in ESB (more characters with evil intent?). The pic on the Bossk card is probably flopped. The Dengar picture on card is definitely flopped, making him appear to be a leftie.

I haven't watched the trilogy, looking out for lefties but I know that at least two of the Skiff Guards are left-handed.

I'm predominantly right-handed myself but I'm also weirdly ambidextrous. It might say a lot about how my mind is wired up, my Lego sculpting ability, etc!

So if i have another set of twins, one left handed, one right, are you saying a should give the leftie the bigger bedroom?
I shoot with my right trigger finger, but i'm left eye dominant, partial assassin!
