Seperate to my post on the battery terminal, my Imperial Troop Transport cam with a grey battery cover - definitely vintage, not one of the resin reproductions. I have asked on Facebook too but can't find any information about the origin of a grey version.

I have a battery terminal rotted away on my Troop Transport and I'm wondering if there's anyway to replace it, weld a new bit on, or forget it.

I tried to PM you but it won't work. Did you have a death star gun for sale?

I've got a Troop Transport and although the battery compartment is clean the electronics aren't working. So I wondered if anyone had experience of opening one up and how easy - or not - it is to get the sounds working again?

Good thread, I had slowed down recently - hardly posting for a while either - but then I picked up a huge childhood hoard from a guy in my town which has renewed my interest. Insane that in 2021 there are still untouched childhood collections tucked away. It was dirty and mostly incomplete...
