Imperial Troop Transport Repair Question

I've got a Troop Transport and although the battery compartment is clean the electronics aren't working. So I wondered if anyone had experience of opening one up and how easy - or not - it is to get the sounds working again?

I've got a Troop Transport and although the battery compartment is clean the electronics aren't working. So I wondered if anyone had experience of opening one up and how easy - or not - it is to get the sounds working again?

It is not as easy as fixing the engine on an x-wing or a tie fighter, normally we can shock start the engine on this vehicles without doing much. But Troop Transport is different I tried it with no luck, I think it was to difficult for me even with video help. Maybe you can do better than me, here is a link to a video I used years ago
