And for anyone looking to book a hotel then, surprisingly, the best deals seem to be available through the Celebration website:

http://www.corporateteam.com/Eventsv2/evnt_home.aspx?evnt=starwars

Looks like they've block booked rooms and the rates are better than I could find when going through other brokers or even direct. Just booked a family room at the Excel Holiday Inn Express (class) for £159 a night which include the HIE's version of breakfast. It's about 300m from the venue.

There is also the London City Airport Travelodge. No family room available through Travelodge, but there are if you book through the Celebration website.

Managed to get a Saturday ticket. Phew.

You get shoved in a virtual queue and this really does work. You then get spat out on the ticket page when it's your go and from there it's straight forward.

All 3 days in the bag. Time for celebratory poo.

Got there in the end.
At first the site was coming up "Not Found...".
Overall it worked really well when I got in the queue.

Excellent. I can see a huge SWFUK plan coming together. I really can't see room sales being any night but Saturday so Thursday, Friday and Sunday looks good :)

still tickets available. you can in fact buy 10 each per person for each day.

sounds like ReedPop made everyone panic when no need,.. I thought that they might have gone too early in regards to the demand a new film would have when they had initially 'sold out'...

ROLL ON THE QUEUING!!!!

To be honest I think it was all bull@!%£. Trying to panic everyone in to buying their tickets as early as possible. . .

That put a side I managed to get my Saturday ticket, so I'm now attending all 3 days, whoop, buzzing :D :D
