Even accounting for fees and postage that's about 15% inflation in 6 weeks, or in payday loans terms 130% annually
Good luck with the sale tho.

I'm offering postage as well, which will obviously be special delivery, and once you've packed a MOC figure safely for postage, the special delivery price isn't cheap. As pointed out the hammer price was £320, but I then paid commision, and then VAT on top of that figure, and then postage cost charged by Vectis.
I'm essentially selling it with a £30 wiggle room
So to the two people who "Hung me out to dry" and quite happily call me a "Cheeky sod", can I ask you this...
Who's behaviour is actually in question here?.
You should be ashamed of yourself
Vinyl Jawa said:I paid £396.80 including fees for this figure, and I bought a number of other items from auction, when Vectis posted it out to me on the 8th september they charged exactly £40 for delivery, and I'm happy to show this on my bank statement, or you're welcome to contact Vectis for confirmation.
I'm paying special delivery which will be approx £12-£15.
Does all this make me a cheeky sod who should be "hung out to dry"?.
No.
Have you never sold anything for more than you paid for it? irrelevant of how long you have owned it, I know I have and anyone who says they hav'nt is full of ****. you make some money on some thing lose it on others who cares, I'm not tripping over myself to defend him as you put it I'm just saying it as I see it.jedisearcher said:And for those tripping over themselves to defend him, think about what you collect and then ask yourself how you'd feel if you'd bid on something last month and now find it for sale at 20% extra on here. I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy.
Calling someone out on what they've done looks crappy and I thought hard about whether to post it, but the facts are the facts and the seller can obviously give their reasons to justify the increased price.

jedisearcher said:Still don't understand why you felt the need to make any profit. You've probably had it in your possession less than a month. Perhaps you like to enlighten us as to the need to make £50 for nothing, and perhaps those defending him could enlighten us as to why they should potentially pay £50 more for an item they could've bought last month for £50 less.
I've seen plenty of good guys on here say I bought this item a few weeks ago, don't want it now so selling for what I paid for it. They don't feel the need to make a profit.
And as for the mathematicians, I'd added on about a tenner for Vectis post and the rest for the sellers postage, so purchase price was within couple of quid £ of £400 which makes £50 profit for doing nothing.
Your response will help people decide whether you're bring a cheeky sod
