Talking of aliens that didn't make the cut... anyone remember this guy - he was briefly glimpsed in the mini making of featurette that came out prior to the release of The Force Awakens. This guy rocks, in a 'so bad its good' kinda way, sponge head and bird **** down his front, why the hell wasn't he in the movie!

It's the Honey Monster! Wondered what happened to him!

Going somewhat off topic here, but couldn't resist this one. A ROTJ alien from Jabba's Palace that didn't make the cut, nicknamed 'Light Man'. Kind of a cool idea but basically looked pretty crap in execution.

This character was going to be matted over with the actual creature, they had someone dressed in black with lights to cast the right glowing look on its surroundings, but they never got around to finishing it, that's why this looked so crappy, its only half the effect

Filming to start May 17th in Donegal allegedly....up in Malin Head. Trucks arrived to start building the sets!
