Nice…how well is the bubble attched?
Your prob aware how poor the seals on the bubble are, I display mine laying down and it's still lifted in one corner !

thankfully the bubble is perfectly sealed - long may that last - I wonder if tucking it up in a star case helps?

Not sure if this is the correct area but I FINALLY got my Rocket Firing Boba Fetts encased in their plastic tombs and now on display. Been planning this for the best part of 10yrs+ but just never got round to it. Well chuffed and nice wee start to the year.

This is one of the quirkiest POTF2 sets I think
This one is sealed so Mr Solo is n there somewhere. Likely dislodged after a long shipping trip from the US.

I agree, I've never seen that before, it must have been late in the POTF2 line.

I think late on but also very limited release - there is no reference to it in the Action Figure Archive book.

The box is 1998 and randomly has printing on every side - even the bottom - frankly I think you can count the number of kids that stuck this on their computer monitors on one hand…

I do love the reference to Windows 95 on the specs though - those were the days…

Looking at Galactic Figures this was a Walmart exclusive in 1998, which makes sense as we haven't seen it before and you got it from the US.
Great find, this is what I love about this line there's always something new to find.

I would go so far as to make the bold statement that the POTF2 line introduced the most amount of innovation to a SW toy line Hasbro has ever done and what makes it so interesting (and frustratingly underrated).

the figures may have started with a bit of a steroid problem with the Red Cards - but look how they evolved, the moulds and introduction of EU characters all the way through to new points of articulation and the comm-tech technology and that first Darth Vader with removable helmet etc. Just look at all the fantastic creatures they did, the updates to the TaunTaun and Wampa make them still among the best ever and the intro of the Ronta and Bantha - these are great toys.

We saw the first Comic 2-Packs, mail-away figures the Cinema Scene 3-Packs and while some of the deluxe packs may have missed the mark, starting to bundle in figures with smaller play elements was a good shift and then the FX figures and eventually the FX X-Wing (which is still one of the best X-Wings ever) and the last few vehicles (Y-Wing and Skiff) introduced the see through boxes allowing collectors to actually enjoy the toy without having to open the box (or just look at artwork on cardboard).

The CD-ROM set and the Escape from the Death Star board game, even the slightly strange Leia 'fashion' 2-packs.

Hasbro threw a lot at the wall with this line and I can't think of another line where they tried quite as much.

A bit of a blast from the past this one. When this came out I was still on a 'buy every figure Hasbro made' drive, and hence I bought the CD ROM Playset for the Han figure, and certainly not for the playset or interactive game (and no, that particular piece of software never got loaded onto my PC!). As stated on Rebelscum (my main resource for keeping up to date with new releases at the time, along with 'Tomart's Action Figure Digest' and 'Lee's Action Figure News and Toy Review'), Hasbro took the Gunner Station Han and slightly re-worked it. The main change was new legs with articulated knees so he could actually sit in the CD ROM Playset chair

I remember buying the Jabba set just to get the slightly less buff Han figure. I need to go dig them out

Another odd one - the figures just look different, but the markings on the Luke are interesting and the partial helmet removal on Vader is cool.

Sealed and only 9 dollars - I won't comment on shipping though

Deluxe and F/X figures and the very odd Leia 2-Packs next on the hunting list.
