Did anyone buy anything today in the Vectis toy auction?. Quite a number of Star Wars items.

I was lucky, ended up winning two, and I'm well chuffed.

didn't even know one was happening!
Looks like it was a TV & Film related auction, still 199 lots of Star Wars though, maybe some sneaked under the radar. When do realised prices become normally available?

That's a fair price, Lindo. It is one of the more common 45As but it's a good one. I paid about £200 for one and was happy with that.

What did the Luke 45c go for? Great MOC :)

*edit* the pic of the 4-LOM has just popped up. Very nice. Quite a clear bubble, too. These have a nasty habit of yellowing.

Yeah this one seemed to go under the radar, forgot about it myself apart from a couple of proxy bids I placed ages ago. No wins sadly.

yes mate 160 was hammer price so I recon about 200 with fees included, I don't know much about palitoy logo moc's so was hoping I hadn't overpaid.

It soon mounts up with commission and VAT.

My final bill was £446.40, and then there's still the postage cost on top of that.

Fantastic 4-LOM, think you did well.

Be interesting to see if anyone else picked up something.

I 'just' missed out on a MOC Boba Fett which ended at a reasonable price.

In fact, everything was quite reasonable today. The only price that really surprised me was the Irish 3-Pack. Can't remember what it ended at, but that was the only one that made me smile, well that and the two loose Yak Face figures, just too expensive.

Made a stab for the Irish 3 pack but it went for £500 hammer price, still not too bad for a decent condition example. Well done to whomever got it.

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to collecting Palitoy Action Force (BFTB) and promised myself not to start on Star Wars, until I had done some more research etc.. (hats off to Jason Smith & others, as I just watched the FAKE BRITAIN - Toy Toni Video Link).

However, I saw the Falcon and couldn't resist her! Let's hope she's not too incomplete (was the only thing I could afford- £70 so far)->
"Palitoy Star Wars vintage Millennium Falcon; Fair, incomplete, within Fair box."

Any collecting advice will be gratefully received.

Thanks

:)

I also thought the auction was under the radar, this time. But the items I bid on ended quite high. :/
