Some fantastic pick ups on here, amazing pieces which I love to oggle at regularly 8)

I don't post up on the LA thread that often, and I have been very lucky this year to add some wonderful items to my collection especially items via the pic auction that was set up and organised by Frunkstar for me ( ever thankful and in debt to Frank for that) I'm still humbled by the generosity of all of the forum members who got involved and provided me with a time wher I was over the moon and Grail item that I will cherish forever!
The reason I'm referring to this is that a member (EOC) not only purchased in that auction but also sent me x 2 baggies ( Han and C3po which I adore), this was a wonderful gesture that again shows the kindness and the type of member this forum attracts.

I then received a PM from EOC chatting and saying he had a little something else for me, and would post out, " don't get excited Mike, it's just a little something" obviously I was excited!

The next news I received something I'm blown away with, and cannot thank EOC enough and will post up aboyt it and the story behind it in another thread

So here we go...take a look at this wonderful piece I have been lucky enough to add to my collection, through EOC s kindness and wonderful generosity, it's a real treasure.....

So, I have cracked the hardest piece of my first 21 run - Boba Fett!

I honestly never thought I would have the budget for him, but got this now infamous MOC (as discussed on the last podcast) from eBay for.....£690!!

Now, am I a fan of signatures on MOCs ? Am I heck, but given the "novelty" of the factory error missing rocket and the fact that this very card sold at Vectis at the end of April for £1000 plus fees - I can live with the signature at that price.

Absolutely delighted - I feel sorry for the seller and honestly thought I was going to get mugged off, but today he arrived, perfectly packaged and he is awesome!

Cheers

Nicky

So many awesome finds of late. I am always in awe.
Love the Palitoys, the crazy comics, the fluffy ewoks, the rare cardbacks, the saved MOFCs, the Clipper Gratis sticker on palitoy Imp troop transport.
So much great stuff. I wish i could say i have added to my collection but alas no.

Keep it going lads. What you are adding to your collections is brilliant!

A big thanks to Iain and Neil for helping me get my latest oddball acquisition from the States.

This is the Star Wars remedial learning kit from Pendulum Press produced in 1978. I've seen the bigger red version of this but have never seen this blue version before.

It comes with the comic, poster, film reel and one of the cassettes whereas the red version comes with 5 comics, an extra cassette and the teacher's supporting documentation. I know I'll most probably never be able to find/afford a complete red version but am really chuffed with this.

Anybody got any info on this version ?
