Not entirely setting this up to bash AFA but it's to highlight any mistakes they have made , of course you can have a laugh at most of them but it's also interesting to see "what slipped by"

I have also included a rather unfortunate Darth Vader who burst out of his bubble after grading, how gutted would you be!

I wonder if anyone has either heard or has pictures ( preferably ) of similar mistakes ?

Kicking off with the recent "What the **** is this helmet and how did it get passed inspection" piece ;)

Next up (courtesy of slim) " Not the right gun but what the hell case it up anyway "

And ending with the unfortunate Darth Vader I mentioned earlier, the sith lord was not meant to look like this..

I don't think we ever got to the bottom of it, I said it looked like a modern one and pulled a picture of one really similar, then some guys said it looks more like a custom one, maybe even a hollowed out Stormtrooper head with custom paint...

This thread also gives Jay another excuse to show off his mislabelled Luke! 8)

It's actually a marketing ploy to get everything recased by the collectors in five years when the weapons are all rattling around in the acrylic cases ;)

That reebo band is class looks like trashed the stage at the end of a set.

What gets me is the carded bubbles can damaged figures paint chips etc I always think the afa cases must wreck some of the figures out of the line especially the more fragile ones?

I have never collected AFA loose does this happen?

Yeah, ditto.

Seen some really badly smudged, TBH I'd say the case had ruined the figure!

I have a 90 graded loose figure.... There is a feckin huge chunk of plastic missing from the back of the figure!

It is not rattlin' around inside the case either!

Did someone forget to wear there glasses?

Pictures please Chaz!

What can I say about the rebo band...apart from "our amps go all the way up to 11"
