Hello all,
I've been here for a while now, so I thought I'd better share my collection. Like many here I colected in my childhood and started again later in life, 2003 to be exact. My goal is to get every figure on the Palitoy/Tri Logo card they were first shown on, as opposed to the real debut cards. So 10 30 Backs, 11 41 Backs etc. Fairly early on I reaslised that this was going to be tough financially, so I decided that I was not going to be too picky about condition (as you'll see). As long as the figure is still sealed to the card I'm happy. So, here they are so far:

First up the Star Wars cards. The Chewie was sold to me as "shop damaged" however unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's a reseal. It's the only one here and I only kept it as a real one would be so damned expensive. (thanks to Nick for the Jawa)

ESB now, a few more.

ROTJ, most of these are a bit easier to find.

The only full run in my collection, all the non last 15 Tri Logos.

Some of the last 15, with the 1.59 sticker where possible. (Thanks to Bram for the Luke)

My complete loose collection, a lot are my original figures, but a few beaters have been replaced.

And finally a few pics of some other Palitoy/vintage UK stuff I have lying around:

Nice collection zippy :) I'm pretty sure I've seen a fair few of these on ebay over the last year or so, good to see where they've ended up!

Hope to see your future updates :)

Great stuff Jason, never get tired of seeing so much Palitoy goodness. And I love the U.K. Topps trading card packs, takes me right back to 1978.

That Dengar mail away is sweet, does it have any paperwork and is that the original box?

Yes, it's definitely the original box, even has a 2nd class post stamp on the back from Leicester, as well as a piece of the Capture Log which was taped to the front with some youngster's name and address (didn't show on the picture in case he still lives there  ). No other paperwork though, do you know if some was originally included?

Thanks! Those U.K. Topps packets are a bugger to track down aren't they? Took me years to get sealed ones, but to my surprise I ended up getting them for basically nothing (about a fiver from memory).

I picked up a sealed pack for £10 a few years ago, but I had to open it - I wanted to see if the gum still had the same smell it did when I was opening countless packs back in the day.
It didn't of course, that gum was rock hard and odourless, but it was a great feeling all the same.

outstanding collection. I love all this palitoy and tri-logo stuff.

That death star is also awesome 8)

Sweet collection 8)

Have never seen yellow logos before :o what's that all about on the Emperor tri logo :?:

Nothing too special I'm afraid, I think it's just been left in direct sunlight for about 5 years!

Well it looks a whole lot better than the bubbles and figures that turn yellow :)

It's really striking and just looks so strange as everything I have ever seen on a tri logo has been red.

That's a great start to what will be a great looking collection 8)

I started off with Palitoy doing something similar. It'll take time but is definitely doable. :D

Thanks guys,
Gary I'm not sure I'll ever reach the dizzying heights of your collection, but hell I can dream :D

Well, you have achieved a lot in your progress towards your collecting goal and that's the important thing.

There are some really tough pieces in there as well. 8)

Lovely collection, truly impressive.
Your Death Star has just convinced me that I too need one of those in my life, it looks great.
Best of luck with the rest of your hunt!
