I just found this site which patches a Zelda ROM to switch up where the items, dungeons etc are to make it like a new game (without changing the whole thing like some hacks.)

I'm usually not a fan of hacks as they are aimed at "super players" so make the games ridiculously hard, but am enjoying this one so far. Anyone know of any others?

That's a great rom hack, I've watched a couple of speed run tournaments which are pretty entertaining.

There's lots of hacks out there for SNES games, this channel is very good and does a series explaining the best ones:

I tried Parallel Worlds but it was too hard for me!

Ah, the thumbnail is misleading, the series covers whole new games like parallel worlds and some kaizo stuff, but also reskins, randomisers and just quality of life improvements like changing weapons in LTTP with the L & R buttons
