Your worst pass-up

They were all owned by a bit of a tit and I think he's parted with some (if not all of them) since the picture was taken years ago but it just goes to show you if one person can put together a group like that then they aren't the rarest item in the world.

I reckon you could easily get one closer to $1500 ungraded, most of the more common Ledy figures should be around the $900-1500 range these days and graded maybe $2000 tops. That's why I thought $3k was a tad high but hey..if it sold it sold.

Much appreciated. Was going by the 2 prices I've seen them before with an AFA 80 grade - $5000 and $4000, so seemed like a good deal. I also messaged someone on here who is respected, and they said if they had a spare $3k they would have been all over. AFA population report shows only a few graded, so assumed they were pretty rare.

Do you know if the $4k and $5k ones sold at those prices or were they just asking prices? I find that most dealers list items on eBay for a ridiculous amount, so you'll often see a $3-4k BIN price on a $2k item.

As far as the AFA pop report goes, I wouldn't judge the rarity of any item based on what the AFA have graded - ever. Yes it's interesting to see what's come through their hands but when you are talking about a production piece it's a safe bet that there are a lot more out there ungraded than there are graded.

That $3k one started at $5k a few months back and was ignored. Why he decided to be a bit sensible I don't know. The $4k I believe someone posted on here as being seen for sale at some sort of comic/cosplay convention. The AFA numbers are really low, I think just a few, so when compared to 12 backs which run into the hundreds for all 12 characters, I was going by that for some basic comparison.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I'll sit back and be patient from now on :D
