Ok, so these don't have to be Star Wars. In fact it crossed my mind to ban Star Wars from this, but no, because one of my top 5 is the AtAt :)

1 - AtAt
2 - Scalextric (Mighty Metros or Le-mans 24hrs)
3 - Castle Grayskull
4 - Optimus Prime
5 - Space Lego

I'm pretty sure this line up could change once I see what others post and think 'bloody hell yeh!' :)

1 - Ecto 1
2 - My 1st Megadrive (nov, 1990) :?
3 - AT-ST
4 - Castle Greyskull
5 - Slimer / marshmallow man

1. star wars - landspeeder & pin head
2. Tente
3. Matchbox cars
4. fischertechnik
5. Atari 2600

Oh life was so much simpler then, line up would be bloody I Pads & loads of other techno **** now if you asked kids.

In no particular order and excluding Star Wars:

1.transformers.
2.Tamiya Hot Shot II RC Car
3.Atari 2600/Spectrum can't choose between the two ( both equality ****/awesome as each other)
4.A-Team

Some excellent choices there guys. What the **** is a fischertechnik? :? Can someone please enlighten me on that one :)

Matchbox cars and A-team toys would be in my top ten

I spent a bit of time in Germany as a kid & they had this stuff at schools & I had a couple of sets, sort of a cross between lego & meccano, great stuff!,

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fischertechnik&rlz=1C1CHNY_enGB512GB512&espv=210&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=-ZhdUp3aC8Om0AXPoICYBw&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1400&bih=935&dpr=1

also befor you ask Tente is like lego, but was way ahead of lego in terms of technical parts, Italian I think -

I know, but where do you stop  So many cool toys back then. Surprised no-one has mentioned M.A.S.K

Never got into Subuteo really. Still don't get it. Remember seeing Test Match advertised and it looked well cool.
