When I was browsing the Internet forums earlier today I came across this story. Pretty descipable if you ask me, you can't trust anyone!

A guy (x) posted that a close family member (y) made a deal with him for some Vintage SW goodies. (y) is apparently knowledgeable about a range of SW goodies (DT is being claimed!) and harped on about how it was the correct weapon etc for the figure he was passing on - a Yak Face I think it was a bit difficult to work out. X was all excited about the deal but upon close inspection of the accessory spotted it was a repro! His close family member trying to pass this BS off! What an arse!

Has anyone got any experience of a similar story?

This is awful IMHO.

That **** had me dying, Todd you a crazy mofo bro!

Wow that is low. I would never dream in doing something like this to my little brother, or any other family member for that matter.

I've come back to this thread because this has troubled me immensely.
Has anyone contacted Jeremy Kyle?

Good on you Stefan.

What gets me is how a DT expert couldn't spot a repro?
Scumbag.

These damn repro's can be hard to spot if you haven't float tested them

And that's the answer. A real concerned family member wouldn't be so despicable as to not test them first.

I may post this on the forum where I read this.
