Yeah Ive seen this before on one of Yoda's Brown Snakes I had a while back. My guess was that it had sunfaded as I had had it on display in a glass cabinet in my room next a window. :|

The one you refer to as green bendy (mold circle on top of head and middle of his body) is not a green snake IMO. Might be Ledy? Brown flexible ones do tend to fade, the firmer ones don't.
