Yoda 41D back Variations

Just added my 3rd 41D to my Yoda focus and thought I'd share a few pics as I thought the transition might interest a few of the variant colectors on here:-

L to R
Classic Light Green Yoda with Orange Snake.
Bright Green Yoda (similar colour to Ledy) with Orange Snake.
Bright Green Yoda (similar colour to Ledy) with Brown Snake.

Cardbacks.
Notice the U and S initials are all in different places.

Close up (sorry bout the flash).

Added a 47A to the end to show the colour change of the Yoda skin to the more familiar Dark Green.

Haven't found a 41D Light Green Yoda with Orange Snake yet but am more than interested in buying one or trading for one if anyone can help



Edit* Please note that although the colour of the bright green Yodas are similar to Ledys they are not the same. Have edited my wording to clarify this and will add a comparison shot later. Sorry if I have caused any confusion.

I'm well impressed - thats a proper collection with a proper eye for detail

a bit confused about the U and S initials though :|

Also, does that mean that most ledy yodas out there (including mine) are probably just dark green 41 back yodas - even if they have the dimpled cane and snake???

What COO markings are on the back? If it says Hong Kong then it isn't a Ledy. :wink:

It's no COO from memory - it was verified by some folk on RS, but I seem to recall that people were generally going by colour.

Thanks for the kind words guys and Sorry for causing confusion Spoons . I have edited the wording in the original post so as not to mislead you about the bright green Yoda being the same as the 41d Yoda. I hadn't even realised what I had written until I got a PM from someone on RS questioning it

Now to clarify the mistake - The Ledy Yoda has a very similar colouring to the 41d Yoda but the Ledy is brighter, the Ledys eyes are generally glossier, the Ledy accessories mostly have the circle marks or dimples and the 41d version does not and (as Craig pointed out) the Ledy has NoCOO markings and the 41d is a made in Hong Kong.

I will post a comparison pic later on this evening :wink:

That's fine I'm no longer confused - although I still don't know what U and S initials are

To be honest Spoons, I aint 100% sure what the initials mean but they do appear on all the Empire Yoda cardbacks. Will do a little homework and get back to you on that one :wink:
