Yellow chest paint Tie Fighter Pilot

I just saw this on ebay and I've never seen one before, the three red dots on the chest are yellow. Has anyone seen this before, is it a minor variant or do you think someone has had their paintbrush out!? I'm inclined to think it's been painted. Any thoughts?

To me that just looks like faded orange paint.

bad photo....looks like the flash has washed out some of the colour. Never heard of a yellow painted TIE Pilot...and yep, wrong blaster

Yeah looks faidid to me. General rule grey gun but look on the back of a 65 back Kenner card and he's holding a black one! Also my Trilogo one from childhood has got a black gun. :? But there is no way I can prove it as I opened it nearly 30 years ago. Has a black gun ever been found MOC with a tie fighter pilot?

Yes. I have one on a Kenner card with Palitoy sticker, but the vast majority.

The color can also look wrong sometimes because of light or because of the camera. It could still be orange or faded. Never seen a yellow one before :?
