yellow bubbles

Been looking through my MOC collection and looking at the AFA reports. Why is it the is hardly any yellow bubbles from a new hope not to many on ESB. But MOC from ROTJ and POTF most off them have yellow bubbles

Ron,I think it's to do with the quality of the plastic that was used.When the ROTJ figures came out it was of a lesser quality than the SW and ESB cards.
I'm sure someone else with more knowledge will put me right if I'm wrong.

we had this conversation at the beginning of last year and someone put a link on here to what some boffin had wrote about it .....its to do with the plastic quality..and theres supposed to be a method of reversing the effeted bubbles back to there original state (but i dont think so)... anyway iam sure someone could find that link which is on here somewhere ??

I take it tri-logo yellow easy as well

I would rather go without than have figures with yellow bubbles at this moment in time as for tri logos most seem to have survived the yellowing so far , seen a couple of ewoks though with yellow bubbles....u cant win though potf =yellow and trilogo =crush although some trilogo bubbles such as nien nunb is of a very strong plastic

The figures were meant to be taken off the cards, they weren't expecting crazy people wanting to keep the bubbles stuck there for eternity !! :lol:

not really, they just get very very brittle..the rotj are the worsted by far..!

It seams near impossible to get a POTF without a yellow bubble

Go on Jabba enlighten me what are the 2 that you can't bring yourself to open.They must be **** -hot: a Vinyl caped Jawa maybe or is it a POTF Yak Face?? 8) 8)

Lee I have both them graded the POTF anakin going to be the only i struggle to get. Unless i got one of the lower grade ones

no a boush and biker scout ,i havent opened them as i would rather swap them with some one with one in a poorer condition and opemn that .plus if i had a vc or yak and it ws beat up and got at a good price i would open it
