Currently on fleabay for £200 and £225 - surely the carded examples would have been worth neat that...?

EDIT: The barbaric practice of UGrading makes me sick. :x
a) how is that better than a carded, genuinely untouched since it came out of the factory Yak?
and b) i really don't see the difference between that and a condition 9-10 loose yak. (because there isn't one)

And you're right, you can buy a carded one for around that. I cannot put into words how stupid UGrading is but UGrading something as rare as a carded Yak is just idiocy of galactic proportions. If they were the most hideous beaters imaginable then i guess i could come to terms with that. Sadly tho, they're often not.

Well if he's the one who had them ripped off their cards and destroyed forever then i stand by my comments. If he's just selling them on then fair dos and i partially take back what i said. :lol:
If i acquired a Ugraded Yak *shudder* i would sell it on at a silly prices cos there are a lot of retards out there who will buy them.

Robbie is quite capable of speaking for/defending himself, but I suspect he may well have sent them for U grading.
I could be wrong though.

Robbie is someone i would consider to be a friend.He knows my thoughts on AFA,and we had a falling out at one point,but i realised that what i said to him publicly was out of order.He trys to make a living from this business as many of us do in our jobs,and although i disagree with what happens with regards to AFA,i doubt anyone would find a more kinder,likeable guy.He is always willing to help you out in anyway that you ask him,and he has also helped me to build a great near complete loose collection.I would think that it is more than likely that Robbie has taken these from either cut or completely battered cards-unless he got them in a trade of some sort.I say again,that i am completely against AFA,but Robbie is a good guy,and i dont think its fair to drag his name through the mud here.He is a top guy,unlike a good percentage of the AFA fanclub who are twats.

Whilst we are talking about cheap Yaks,im pretty sure that Andy(you jammy ****er!!!)beat me to a AFA85 Yakface for £65 on RS a while back,and i think it was a U grade too,im sure Andy will chime in.Nevermind,he sold me another for dirt cheap anyway

Fair dos. I don't know the guy so i reserve judgement. I'm with you on the AFA UGrading thing. It makes me sick and quite often that'll cause some rather harsh knee-jerk comments from me.
I also understand that each case is different.

I've met robbie on two ocassions, and he does seem like a decent fella. I know he makes his living from SW, and as such the U grade thing must have been a god send to him.
BUT at the same time my opinion of U grades is the same as 99% of people on here.

LOL yeah it was cheap wasnt it lol (i think it was £55) it wasnt a U grade though otherwise it would have been worth £265....lol
