Bit bored tonight so decided to take a look at the x wing box and see what I could do with it

Decided to try and square up the x wing box, it's never going to win any prizes as it is very battle damaged

But needed to try and get it square if I could
So used the ironing method again, but took Todds advice on the starch method as well, and I'm ok with the results
Definitely an improvement...cheers Todd great advice on the starch 8)

See what you think

:D

Glad it worked for you. I have done it with boxes people were going to bin before. Boxes that could not stand up on their own....and it made them 100% better.

Looks great however... your inner cardboard is "inside out". Fold it the other way and you'll find it supports the inner walls of the box as it's intended to. 8)

Cheers Todd, great tip on the starch, appreciate that :D , will def do this with boxes in the future as it does make a noticeable difference
Cheers again dude
BTW love the Fett project he is so awesome, would love one of those doozies :D

Jedi534....cheers for putting me straight on the inner box I will sort that

So much to learn

Cheers guys :D

great thread michael and great work. That box looks a lot better after you used the ironing method again on it :D

The only vintage star wars thing I own with a box is an x-wing. I think I'm gonna have to spray starch my box after seeing how nice yours has come out.

As long as you take time, only spray a fine mist of starch and iron gently it comes out ok, def make a difference, still have a bit of work to do on it to tidy, but the starch method is great

Good luck mate :D
