Hello all

Having acquired quite a few new bits and pieces I've had to create new display space up in the attic, hence the extension to the side of my collection 8)

Most of the new items i have have come from people on here, so thanks a lot for the help guys 8) New things include a number of ESB MOC's and reseals, most of which I've carried out some restoration work on. A few other bits are the AtAt, Jabba, a die-cast land speeder, bits from my awesome Secret Santa (yes an update has taken this long!) some more MOC's and Todd's custom Droids IG88. The cardback set is now complete, or at least as complete as I want it to be, with one ESB back of every character. I will update the photos very soon

It is taking on a more organised feel than when I first posted photos. Less clutter means that most items are on display rather than being hidden at the back.

My inspiration these days is mainly down to this forum, so thanks to you all for making the hobby so enjoyable again

Special credit goes to my good friend Mel for taking some of these shots (the good ones) in what can only be described as 'challenging' lighting conditions. What a guy :)

Enjoy :D

Firstly here is where it all started. This photo would be around 1991. The only way I can date it is that my 12 inch Chewie isn't there. I picked that up while on work experience from school probably in 1992. I can just about make out Yak Face, bought around that time for a couple of quid :)

If anyone would like to know more just ask. Can't imagine that there's much here that a lot of you guys don't have or won't of seen before.

Nice, although it seems a shame to have it in the loft with the Christmas decorations!

Do you get much time up there with the collection? Can I see a Meccano Yoda with a miscard bubble too? Very nice!

Great collection - some real gems in there, I still havn't got round to showcasing mine - will need to get on to it!! :D

Well that's good news. Can someone tell me the difference between the Meccano one and a normal version?

Absoloutely love this setup! The "unorganised" approach just makes it look like a treasure trove. Lovely cabinet too!

the cabinet was from a golf club. They used to keep trophies in it! Unfortunately to get it in the attic i had to saw it in half.

These days i don't have room in the house to dsiplay what with the Mrs and two kids running amock. Safer in the attic where i can have quiet time. :)

Thats a nice Buddhist type attic shrine you got going there. Needs some burning sticks and your away.

Nice stuff.

Whats the ESB Yoda box behind 12 inch chewie?

lol. That's what my wife says!

The ESB box is a bath set still unopened with the bubble bath and everything. If you fancy a bath 1982 style then that's the ticket

Thanks guys. I'm glad you think it's ok. You can only see some of it as a lot is hidden from view. I think there are Marvel (?) SW 1&2 comics in there.

It's French!

I just went for a look and you were 100% spot on. Says Meccano on the back :D

Not that i would sell it but what's that worth? It's in reasonable condition but the bubble has come loose around the bottom. Other than it being French what makes these figures rare? I'm showing my ignorance here i know.

No idea in today's market but according to my book the 45 back is the rarer if the 2 coming in at about £80 - £130 5 yrs ago. But prices fluctuate a lot and its only worth what someone is willing to pay
